"We hadn’t told anyone we had booked a band, so it was amazing to see everyone’s reactions to Echo Drive!
From the chat we had the week before, through to the end of the night the lads were easy to get on with and accommodating.
On the day, they set up without any bother and came across really relaxed, experienced and professional, giving us the assurance that everything was under control and that we could just chill and enjoy the evening without worrying. They also linked in really well with the DJ we had booked too.
The music itself was sensational and we can’t thank them enough for the music and energy they brought to the dance floor. Throughout the night and since, we’ve had nothing but positive comments about the performance and song choices of the band! Offering to learn the song for our first dance is also something we really valued and made the moment even more memorable.

"Echo drive played our wedding in September 2021 and absolutely rocked it! The dance floor was full all night and none of our guests were ready for the last song.

These guys advertise themselves as a professional covers band but we feel this is a disservice - they aren't trying to be anyone else. They add their own style/twist to every song that they play and that makes them more than just another 'wedding band' Such a talented bunch and will make your reception memorable.

"Absolutely fantastic! Calder and the guys are just amazing, our wedding on Saturday was a blast, from the very beginning. We had Calder’s acoustic accompaniment through out the ceremony, the band and the DJ service. The dance floor was full from the word go, the DJ sets were perfectly pitched to the audience, I won’t be able to listen to our ceremony songs again with crying it was so beautiful. We had so many guests compliment the band and so many complain of sore feet, aching knees and hips the neck day. No hesitation in recommending Echo Drive 100 percent."

Echo Drive is made up of four music professionals who have continued to develop their skills in a range of areas to ensure they can deliver a quality product to their clients.
“Choosing the right songs and delivering authentic, dynamic live shows is only half the battle. Managing the sound restrictions, acoustics and particulars of venues often not designed for live music is certainly another half of the battle, on any given night.”
Fortunately Echo Drive has a wealth of experience, knowledge and qualifications in music performance and production. Singer, Calder, returned to education later and achieved a First Class Degree in Applied Studies Music which involved various modules on live sound and production. Dan, on bass and keys, has a Jazz Studies Degree from Leeds College of Music. Guitarist, Greg, is a grade 8+ professional, and highly qualified guitar teacher and coach, a self confessed “guitar-tone nerd". Josh, on drums, is sales executive for DGMusic - an excellent agency for bands and artists all over the UK whose standards are second to none. "These are the skills that a professional band require. It’s much more than being able to play along to songs in your living room or do a pub gig."

We use a mix of acoustic and electric guitars so we can cover the nu-folk sounds of Mumford and Sons or the Lumineers, for example. We also have a live synth/keyboard and drum triggers and pads, so we can perform dance music and electronically lead styles. With hand percussion and 3 part vocal harmonies, we believe we have a gives us a truly versatile sound.
Beyond that, Echo Drive play a large repertoire of your favourite indie/rock classics from across the decades, and we can learn a special request - such as a first dance song - within our standard fee.
